One-of-a-kind activation takes to the road

ALL PHASES not only builds events, we build solutions. A major advertising agency needed a fresh idea to promote their client's brand of spirits, and also wanted to take it on the road for maximum brand exposure. But where to begin? ALL PHASES identified the challenge this idea presented, and drew on years of touring and production experience to build a successful event model for the client.

Challenges

The agency had the ideas but not the experience with an activation. They wanted to combine extreme sports-style games with a branded theme, and book different musical acts in each city, all of which would appeal to adults of various age groups. Most importantly, they needed to find a site in each city that would be suitable to host such an event.

Solution

ALL PHASES took on the challenge of the live activation, and acting as an agent of the client, planned a multi-city tour that spanned the US over the course of a year. APEG scouted each potential site and dealt with the complicated permitting process involved with hosting a live event in a downtown area. Additionally, APEG executed every facet of production and operations on the dynamic tour that evolved throughout its ten month run, all on time and within the confines of the budget.

Results

The tour was wildly successful, attracting more and more crowds in each successive city as word traveled through social media networks about the event. The brand saw vastly increased exposure and the ad agency pulled off a successful campaign for their client. The tour, which was initially slated to run for one year, is now looking to re-launch for two more years.
